June 13th is the long-awaited team building activity day for our KMQ friends. Linjiang in the early morning was still shrouded in rain, but when we were about to set off for the team building base, the rain stopped as if it could understand people’s hearts. The scorching sun in the past few days actually took away its edge on this day. The one-day team building activities started in this pleasant climate.
Icebreaker team building
After a few short warm-up games, we were divided into two teams under the guidance of the coach, "Thunder Team" and "The Strongest Team on the Surface." The members of the two teams did not give in to each other, their slogans were louder than the other, and they shouted harder than the other, all trying to overwhelm each other in momentum. Next, we will start today's confrontation activities in the form of two independent small teams.
Confrontation activities
There are five activities in total, namely Long Teng Wanli, Supersonic, all dragons picking water, Blind Array, and Team Magic Pen. Each project tests the tacit cooperation between teammates.
In the Long Teng Wan Li link, the members of the two teams need to use balloons to make a dragon. The coach gave an order, and the members of the two teams quickly occupied both ends of the field and began to make a nervous dragon body. Although time was tight, the members of the two teams were busy and not chaotic, with a clear division of labor, some people blowing balloons, and some people tied balloons. In a short while, two lively dragons are ready. The members of the two teams held up their own hand-made dragons. Through the tacit cooperation between the team members, they saw two colorful dragons tossing up and down with the dragon ball for a while, and then coiling into a circle again, which was lifelike and vivid.
The most unforgettable part of the little friends is the blind formation. Compared with other confrontation activities, this is the only project that needs to be completed by two small teams. Before the start of the activity, the coach asked everyone to put on blindfolds and disturbed everyone's position. They could only judge their position by touch and sound and communicate with other members. The players who were usually used to judge by sight were suddenly lost with a sense of direction, everyone began to shout loudly to judge their position, each of them clinging to the rope, for fear of being alone. The game requirement of the blind array is to let everyone find the rope and use the rope to form the largest square. Although the rules sound simple, they are not easy to do. The friends thought of various methods. One moment, the number of people was used to control the length of the side, and the other, the edge of the flower bed was used to control the right angle, but they all failed. Finally, some members suggested that everyone else let go of the rope, leaving only four people to fold the rope in half and then in half to get four sides of equal length, and four people grasp the four corners and straighten them back to get a square. After hearing this proposal, the team members who had just been at a loss for their own affairs began to consciously let go of the rope. Sure enough, a wise proposal, coupled with everyone's cooperation, quickly formed a square.
Summary outlook
With the laughter, the day’s team building activity is over. Although it is a small game, it brings more meaning to the friends than the game itself. In the team building activity on this day, there is competition and collaboration between the two teams, and the division of labor and cooperation between team members. This is just as we are at work. Colleagues need to cooperate with each other, but at the same time, healthy competition is needed to achieve this. Make progress together.
From the beginning of team building, the coach asked us: What is a team? After a day of team building activities, the friends are deeply aware of the meaning of the team. As long as we Work in one direction and work hard together, we will be a complete team. We will also be able to win and create a brilliant tomorrow for KMQ together.
