Key Model for Drug Development of Atopic Dermatitis
Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic, relapsing, inflammatory skin disease, also known as atopic eczema, and was once referred to as atopic dermatitis and genetic allergic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis can be categorized into two types: simple and mixed, depending on whether it is combined with other allergic diseases. Of these, the simple type of atopic dermatitis manifests only as dermatitis and can be subdivided into endogenous and exogenous types. The disease has a long course, can seriously affect the quality of survival of patients, and is generally not life-threatening.
We have established stable multiple models of atopic dermatitis, which are suitable for preclinical atopic dermatitis drug research and new drug evaluation.
