Key models for drug development in acute/chronic asthma models
Bronchial asthma, or asthma for short, is a common chronic inflammatory airway disease mainly characterized by recurrent episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, or coughing in the airways, which often flares up or worsens at night and in the early morning. Since there is no cure, prevention of asthma is especially important. Routine preventive measures include avoiding asthma-inducing environments and substances, actively treating upper respiratory tract infections, and taking care to maintain good living and eating habits.
We have established a stable acute/chronic asthma model, which is suitable for preclinical acute/chronic asthma drug research and new drug evaluation.
