Key Model for Drug Development of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, diffuse connective tissue disease caused mainly by abnormal activation of the immune system, which attacks its own tissues. The disease can damage organs throughout the body, and thus may lead to a variety of complications, including kidney damage and neuropsychiatric symptoms.
We have established a stable MRLMpJ-Faslpr mouse model of SLE, which is suitable for preclinical SLE drug research and new drug evaluation.
