Diarrhea can be categorized as acute diarrhea and chronic diarrhea. Typical symptoms of diarrhea are frequent bowel movements and thin feces, which may be accompanied by abdominal pain or lead to dehydration, which in severe cases affects the patient's life.We have established a stable 5-fluorouracil (5-Fu)-induced diarrhea model, which is suitable for the study of drugs with preclinical diarrhea and the evaluation of new drugs.
