The cause is often attributed to occupational or environmental factors such as silica dust, asbestos dust or carbon black dust. Pneumoconiosis is divided into many types, such as silicosis, coal workers' pneumoconiosis, graphite pneumoconiosis, and asbestosis. Pathogenesis is related to dust particle size, dust concentration, exposure time and other factors.
